1. South Pars gas field is located in the heart of the Persian Gulf. The world's largest natural gas deposits are located in this area of the Persian Gulf comprising 47% of Iran's and 9% of the world's overall natural gas reserves. Iran and Qatar jointly exploit this gas field while Iran has defined 28 phases for the development of this field since 2002. Mapna Group has plans underway to have a share of the development of this gas field. In 2010 and within the framework of a consortium, Mapna Group undertook to develop phases 13 and 14 of South Pars natural gas field. Phase 13 of this field includes process units such as SRU, propane, sulfur storage, propane and chemical materials storage tanks, utility and finally offsite units. Phase 14 comprises SRU and SWS process units, gas exports and measurement station, sulfur solidification and storage, chemical materials storage tanks, utility and finally off-site units.
2. Mapna Group also specializes in Offshore and onshore drilling. Mapna Group has plans underway for the purchase of offshore-onshore drilling masts and will soon be in a position to implement drilling projects of National Iranian Oil Company.

Majority of utility projects implemented by Mapna employ equipment that have been manufactured at the Group's factories. These equipment and components include turbine, generator, boiler, electric and control systems.
The utility of Petrochemical Complex with a generation capacity of 738MW of electricity and generation of 2000 tons of steam per hour, is a brilliant project implemented by Mapna in this area of industry.
