The Vice President for Procurement 's duties in Mapna are as follow:
1- Finalization of the Supply Contract
Purchasing and procuring the Equipments and Services would be done by concluding the Contracts with qualified contractors or suppliers through direct negotiation. tendering and bidding, by the Procurement Department.
The technical and commercial documents and specifications are sent to the bidders for the above procedures.
2- Evaluating the Suppliers
Evaluation of the suppliers (of the Equipments and/or Services) would be periodically done as follows, as the case may be:
By receiving the initial information as per the time schedule,
At the supplier's workshop or office,
By asking for the supplier's qualification by the other consumers,
Prior and after bidding, and
During the Project and after its termination
